Dry, sunny conditions expected next week With the exception of some light rain possibilities Saturday and Tuesday, the forecast through next week is looking to be dry. National Weather Service Meteorologist Dan Cornish said there is a 20-30% chance of precipitation on Saturday but it likely won’t produce heavy rainfall, perhaps a few hundreds of an inch in this area. Forecasters are tracking another minor system that may produce rain Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning but Cornish said it’s just as likely the storm track will change and the area will remain dry. Overall, Cornish said the forecast is looking “pretty dry” through the middle to end of next week, with sunny conditions expected several days. Toward the end of the week, Cornish said the area could experience a warmup, with temperatures potentially reaching the 60s and 70s.
